We understand that there may be times when you are unable to attend the Takaful Basic Examination (TBE) on the scheduled date due to unforeseen circumstances. In such situations, you may need to reschedule your exam to a later date.

On this page, we have provided information on the process for rescheduling the TBE, including the fees and deadlines involved. We have also included information on the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund of your exam fees.

1. Candidate Self-Reschedule

Up to 6 days BEFORE the examination date, the candidate can reschedule the exam date themselves in the website www.takafuleexam.com. Please refer to the user guide on how to reschedule.

2. Reschedule by TBE Admin

Within 6 days from the examination date, the examination details have been programmed and therefore changes can only be made by the TBE Admin.

Rescheduling can be done only for valid reasons and with proof attached. Examples:

1.	Death in immediate family	Death certificate.
2.	Candidate or candidate immediate family not well	MC or timesheet from doctor.
3.	Call away to job-related meeting/trip	Email or text or any other documentation that shows candidate is called away.
4.	Covid related – need to go swab test, close contact, has COVID, vaccination appointment, after vax effects.	MySejahtera screenshot or test results document.
5.	Others	Contact TBE Admin as above.

3. Reschedule due to problems during examination

No.	Situation	Remarks
1.	No laptop No internet line Internet slow Use WIFI hotspot instead of internet line Handphone battery died. Laptop battery died. Late for examination. Forgot about exam. No proper place to take exam.	These requirements are stated in the website and are commonly applicable to any online examination. Such cases will be reviewed on a case to case basis but TBE Admin reserves the right NOT to reschedule the exam. Contact TBE Admin as above.

Important:

Reschedule must be requested by contacting the TBE Admin as above. It is NOT AUTOMATIC.
Reschedule is done one time ONLY. If for any reason the candidate is not able to attend and complete the rescheduled examination, reschedule will not be done again.
Reschedule for problems during examination must be requested from TBE Admin within ONE MONTH from the date of the examination. Any requests AFTER one month from the date of the examination will not be accepted.
