The computerized examination is conducted online at authorized Examination Centers and it consists of three (3) parts:
- Part A : Basic Takaful, Medical and Health Takaful
- Part B: General Takaful
- Part C: Family Takaful, Investment Linked Takaful
- To be a Family Takaful agent, candidates will have to sit for Part A and Part C.
- To be a General Takaful agent, candidates will have to sit for Part A and Part B.
- If a candidate already passed Part A and Part C and wants to be a General Takaful agent, candidate only has to sit for Part B.
- If a candidate already passed Part A and Part B and wants to be a Family Takaful agent, candidate only has to sit for Part C.
- Candidates who select and pass the Part A, B and C examination type, may register to be a Family AND General Takaful agent.
The passing mark for the TBE examination is 55.
If the candidate fails, the candidate will have to re-sit the examination. The candidate has to register and make payment for the examination again.
Language
The medium of the examination is English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin. The language can be chosen during the examination.
Examination Attendance Slip
The examination slip can be printed out by the candidate via the system once the examination fee has been paid. There is a user guide that candidates can refer to print out the examination slip.
